  1. @Horton - I can't find anything about the stiffeners in brochure or on the Radar website. Are they removable? Can you post a picture?
  2. @Horton - Stiffeners in new Vapor boots? Is this a new feature for 2015?
  3. Hoses, fittings, demand pump, mixing valves, y-tube, etc. all need to be matched for proper consistent flow, pressure and heat. I found it was less expensive to order the complete kit and y-tube from skidim when they run one of their10% off sales than engineer it myself.
  4. Back to the question. Did Wakeye develop the app? This app looks like it would be simple to develop. I thought I might ask Wakeye to develop one for the new windows phone operating system. I figure it never hurts to ask.
  5. @Horton - Yes and a 41mp Carl Zeiss camera. Windows Phone 8.1 is quit good.
  6. I need that for my windows phone. Did Wakeye develop the app?
  7. @Horton - I appreciate you figuring this out, but I want you to know @Roger didn't get it wrong. I attached the screen shot a few of us used so you can see it for yourself. You may not believe it, but I ran those numbers all summer. I skied my average, now i wonder how I would ski with the correct numbers.
  8. Does the standard SFC work with a Radar Sequence plate?
  9. @Horton - Can you please help clear up the difference in fin setting dated 3/1/2014 and posted on the Performance site you linked to above. Rini sent out different setting after 3/1/2014. Rini text them, but I lost the text. I copied this from @Roger in another thread. I believe Rini has confirmed these are his latest setting but I have no proof to back it up. This really needs to be cleared up so we are not guessing on what setting we are to start with. Roger Posts: 1,070 Solid Baller May 17 edited May 17 I just got the latest Vapor setting from Rini at our April tournament. 63.5, 6.875, 2.475, .745 wing at 8, boot at 29.00 65, 6.880, 2.475, .745 wing at 9, boot at 29.25 66, 9.954, 2.445, .745 wing at 9, boot at 29.25 67, 6.960, 2.450, .750 wing at 9, boot at 30.25 68, 6.960, 2.450, .750 wing at 9, boot at 30.75
  10. My Rini settings for the 67 has the front boot at 30 1/4. I think there are newer setting than the March recommendations.
  11. O.k., I read the 35+Skiers Association post that Chad_Scott mentioned as the Basis for this thread. Like others, my opinion may be BS to these guys, but it does not mean we don't have a dog in this fight. I am a fan, a spectator, a supporter, a volunteer, a promoter, a teacher, a product consumer, a competitor, etc., etc. When will one or two of these guys figure out not to upset their fans and supporters? When you upset your fans, you are not professional and your fans loose interest at the expense of the big names in the sport and participation decreases. And for the record, I am subjected to some of the most stringent drug & alcohol testing policies in the work place. So who is this anonymous "one guy" willing to pay for these expensive test for any Big Dawg skiers willing to submit?
  12. I guess I am guilty of not reading the post that was put up a few weeks ago. What was the title of that post? I did not see where it was a prerequisite for having an opinion on this thread, but I would like to read it.
  13. So this thread is really about someone accusing Dave Miller of using PEDs? Who was it? If that is the case good on Dave for posting his results. Thanks to one a-hole, now all the Big Dawgs have to bare the cost of PED testing. How much does one test cost?
  14. @Horton - Maybe, but my point is if you're willing to break the law or a rule, whether for speeding or anything else, you have demonstrated you do not feel the need to follow rules and therefore do not provide the character standards representative of the Big Dawg brand.
  15. In order to protect the Big Dawg brand, it might be beneficial to perform criminal back ground checks, psychological evaluations and IQ test. Anyone who has broken the law, including speeding tickets should be banned to protect the brand. Banning the health benefits of legally prescribed life saving medicines is getting a little carried away.
  16. When this controversy started, I thought I had an opinion. Then I figured out I didn't know the rules. Now I am happy Horton provided this venue so the more experienced guys could bring this to the readers attention. The most important thing I learned is that you can toss the handle if your equipment does not feel right. What a great learning forum, Thanks.
  17. What type of profession is concerned about posting with your real name on a waterski site? I always thought posting anonymous was for people who have something to hide about their identity.
  18. @webbdawg99‌ - were you not offered a re-ride?
  19. I am interested in all the scores as well. Are they just hard to find?
  20. @countymountie - Search "Micro Adjust" on this site. These guys have the answer to your issue positioning your binding between the normal adjustments if you have a standard drilled plate.
  21. @Skinut - I ride my Vapor in some pretty windy conditions on a public lake, if you ride the ski flat prior to your turn in for the gates there is normal chatter. Once you enter the course the ski cuts through the chop better than any other ski I have used. I used to have a hard time down wind, with the Vapor it gets so wide early it does not seem to matter. The ski is just amazing.
  22. @BraceMaker‌ - I know little to nothing about the system. I was just trying to steer up some debate. When I come out of my Vapor bindings the only thing to hit my shin is the intuition liner which is very comforting.
  23. Sounds like a design flaw. Waterskiing should not be painful on a regular binding release.
