Yes, the Hommels have created quite a foundation for waterskiing, especially in New England. I don't think I ski a set without thinking about something Skip has taught me or anyone else. The Hommels bring alot to the table for us all. Congratulations Skip!!!!

Finally got to give her a rip with correct fin, noticeably better hold out of turn. Took 1/2 a set to get used to it!!!!

@Zman yup, that's me, had to drag a -32 to hell and back just to get out the exit. @wish yes when I went to fix it I thought: make sure you remeasure 7.5, then I stopped and said yeah right, that matters now?

Actually I have been complaining that my onside (RFF) is stalling, but today I ran about 8 28s that were pretty sweet, also feels unstable off the buoy

dropped my bg settings to about where yours are, waaaaay better. nothing over .02 on no more than 1-3 segments, better gates.

I will play around with it and see what happens, I didn't know people were dropping that many rpms off base, that may help me get dialed.

I can get a suitable practice ride if I creep it up to set RPM right

And my baseline is higher cuz of smaller engine, I think it set it at 3390 and I dropped it to 3340

Interesting that pg number on mine IS a decimal, is yours? However, I am an 02 SN with a 5.0 (smallish engine) my only issue is the 1ball times being -.03ish

Slight hijack or comparison here but my 34.2 normal bg settings are pregate: .30 1ball: 20 and ball 3: 23. We definitely come in hot and have fast 1's, could a tweak to these help that?

I believe I lowered by 50. Next time I feel like wasting a bunch of gas I'm gonna re do it. My 1 balls are anywhere from 1.74 to 1.77

i lowered baselines and pull skier up, pull throttle back and creep rpms up to re engage, gates, and pulls are 95% wicked good, 1 ball times can be funky, but getting better

Water temp did rise but has leveled out a little, it's not too soupy now but was last week, binding adjustment may be bad idea by me. Thank you for the ideas.

I don't have video but struggling with my A2, had it finishing turns so easy and with sick direction into wake, now it's just stalling, feels like i can't get it around especially onside. Only thing I changed is moved bindings fwd 1/8th inch.

Of course, if bindings are in "incorrect" spot, they may end up moving more than an 1/8th

Will an 1/8th of an inch make a difference on front boot measurement? I haven't felt super connected to my ski lately, we took some close-as-can-be measurements and it looked to be 1/8th back from stock.

blew out the left hook lock on my rs-1 rear boot, been skiing just tightening without upper hooks. feels loose and not killing it out there but not sure if its the binding or me. anyone have this issue or a quick fix?

SN's tend to be nice at slower slalom speeds as well (for the up and comers) Imo
