    just booked hotel for the Malibu Open, and the family and I are travelling down from Ontario, Canada. Was there a couple of years ago and had a great time, especially at the event hotel, as the skiers were great with the kids giving photo ops and autographs. It looks like the event hotel changed this year? also any word on the annual waterski mag awards banquet, as we would like to attend this event.

    Looking for a friend's son. Trying to get a TRA or suitable D3 used, or closeout sale. Hoping someone has one that their kid has outgrown and are ready to sell. In Ontario, Canada, so if anyone north of the border, it's even easier to ship etc... thanks

    I'll bring a Canadian Flag for my daughters to wave when Whitney is skiing, and will keep an eye out and drop by to say hi to any ballers.

    I'm heading there for first time. Traveling with another family from Ontario and will be looking for beer for dads and autographs for kids. Can't wait.

    I know it's early, but it appears the skiing is friday qualify and finals for saturday. I'm making a family road trip for this one and plan on staying at the hotel suggested on the malibu open website. We're travelling from Ontario Canada with another family, and will tour Chicago on our way home. Looking for suggestions of 'stuff' to do when in Milwaukee and Chicago. Also, who is going, would like to meet some ballers for a cold one ... or few...

    @GregHind I would like to be able to program more than one cours. we have 4 courses on our lake (large public lake) and it always seems like the one that's not saved is the one with the best conditions. Not a big deal, but it would be more conveniant. thanks.

    Just about over, water temp into the 50's now, and it's cold at night. Just hanging in long enough to keep in shape for fla trip later in October. time to mtn bike, hockey, then snow ski.

    $53.9 I recall. Still trying to convince my wife that it's a good idea. If I can, I have a dialed in mint 2007 fully loaded for sale setup by the Malibu promo director Dennis Kelly. Runs, drives and skis perfect and it's in Canada so no importing for fellow Canadians.

    @SkiKolb your place looks great and I'm interested in a long (thursday - Monday) weekend with 2 sets per day and stay at house. There are about 6 guys from our ski club in Ontario Canada that are planning a trip this October. Last year the group went to Tampa and arranged a 5 day 2 set package at McCormicks, and got hotel rooms. this looks like it may be a great option and something different. Is it possible to get a similar package at LaPoint Ski Park? thanks

    @skidawg that may help me out, as we've been skiing at 21 mph. Her ski is big enough 63" d3 so we can slow down. thanks

    great to see. I'll have to get my 5 year old going. I have the 7 year old doing well. I'm curious what speed are you running? Also I'm having a bit of trouble keeping her pulling through the wake as the natural tendancy is to lay off and flatten the ski, any tips you could share that you have found that work with young girls? thanks

    Finally ran all 6 at 32off (34.2mph) last night in practice. Turned all 6 three times in a row, great feeling! I've been running 28 in my sleep, but was always getting slack at 1 ball, but with some gate practice at 28 I've managed to keep a tight line and ski out the exit gates, very happy and can't wait to try again tonight.
