  1. @Chuck_Dickey to call somebody's opinion inaccurate makes you look .... So lets just agree to disagree on the N1
  2. I have riden both the N 1 and the Mapple. In my opinion the N1 felt like a slug. No acceleration it turns ok. I have rode the Mapple many times now and it is very predictable, fast ,settles into the turns very well. One of the best traits of this ski is it keeps on creating space between you And the buoy as you ski further into the pass. Well worth trying and as said by SkierJP. Andy has the best customer service I have seen in some time
  3. The black and white 196 has 131 hrs on it and looks clean. This could be a great deal for some one who is in the market for a new 196. The blue and black is also very sharp. the blue has a little more pop to it. both look to be good well kept boats.
  4. Poor mans cable ski. But if USA Water Ski can make money off of the sanctioning of this event they will embrace it.
  5. In my opinion the 196 was propped perfect. The RPM's were not too high plenty of power. If you start running the RPM's lower you will lose the in the power curve and the boat will feel like a dog it you go too low.
  6. Switching to the 654 prop was one of the best moves CC made for the 200. The boat drops 250 to 300 RPM's and has a pull the is very inline with the 6 Liter. It has a good hole shot no loss of power or acceleration .
  7. I stopped paying for to the mag a couple of years ago. The boat buyers guide is a joke, the ski reviews are not reliable in my option since the ski MFG'S advertise with them other then a couple of articles the mag has become a joke.
  8. He ran into money problems and need to get rid of it.
  9. A friend of mine has an A3 66" that he needs to sell. He has rode it 4 times and wants to get rid of it. $900.00
  10. @Wish you know my number Anytime!!!!!
  11. Lots of good conversation about this. I do believe that everybody should ski behind the boat that drew the division. As for the Pro's will maybe all three MFG should place 10K each into a pot and who ever breaks the record gets the cash. Myself and my buddy have talked about this many times. If something like that occurs then the skier and the ski company get the press and the boat company also get the press. Looking back every boat company involved especially the big 3 have all had world records behind them. they are all world records tow boats. or option # 2 run all divisions by boat. all Malibu skiers then MC skiers and finally CC skiers. You have to learn to ski behind all boats. If you don't like skiing behind a 200 will get over it because everybody else has the same wake driver and boat so focus and do your best. Next time you may get your favorite and others may feel at a disadvantage..
  12. I have used many brands of whey protein and the best by far is ProtiZyme whey protein. It is made by Metabolic Nutrition. This is a pharmaceutical grade protein. It is not available at GNC. It is made in Sunrise Florida.
  13. I weigh the dame as you do 160. I ride a 66.25 A2 and I would try the 66.25 S2 if wanting to try a new style of ski. I did come off of the A. coming off of an A1 the A2 is faster and turns a bit better you should have no problem making the transition.
  14. Masterline just got handles in last week late in the week Thursday. Give them time to drill and grommet them. They are at nationals
  15. 'To get to nats you should have to place in state, regionals and then bring the best to the nats for the show down' is well said MS. And that should be the way the nationals work. BUT It will never happen because USAWS is all about money not the skier. I get a better ride at my local tournament then at the nationals. Something is wrong with that .
  16. I would bet that half the skiers are at regionals because they are forced to be there in order to ski nationals.
  17. mshaw200 I know you ski in your respective division and I respect that. Like always it is a hand full of people who screw it up for everybody else.. What do I get out of skiing the nationals? Nothing. The Nationals carry no weight as far as the best skiers being able to ski, you have MM skiers who have won Big Dawgs skiing in their respective age groups which is their choice. USAWS has to make a choice one way or another if they want the sport to grow. Does Europe or Canada have this same problem??????
  18. How about going back to an EP based system. Put the EP between 3-5 @ 38 or higher in men 3,4,5 and delete MM. This may solve some of the problem for nationals regionals . Like years ago you will get the best of the best and anybody on the dock has the chance to bring home some hardware . USA will not like this idea because this will reduce their cash flow. But it will make the nationals something special again.
  19. Try this link http://www.wholesaleforeveryone.com/category/doo-rags-single-piece.html?gclid=CMPyrrLV1rECFQT0nAodmCAAeA
  20. In the early 2000's it used to take 5@35 off for M2 or 4@35 for M1. Men 3 used to have almost 200 hundred skiers alone. Anybody there could win on any given day. You did have the best of the best. And there were no issues like today. The kids numbers started to drop because mom and dad did not qualify. If the parents did not qualify the kids who were able to ski nationals did not go. Drop in entries and revenue. So the EP's dropped to allow the parents to qualify so the parents would bring the kids. Now with the new system of level 8, 9 ect. there are no EP's so you don't get the best of the best you get who ever is in the cutoff level and above. The nationals have become a joke. Everybody laughs at INT but there numbers are growing and we are not. They do take the top 5 or 10 skiers from every region and they get to go to the INT nationals. They get the best of the best even though it is performance based ie never made 28 off not age based.
