  1. Thanks for the offer Jody. I think another member local to me has what I am after (is checking tonite). Take care.
  2. ....Rather, you are the @Sully famously ripping it up in the BowFlex ad. Similarly, I'd be curious to read how the Fusion compares to the new "flaming carrot"
  3. If anyone has one of these, please drop me a PM. I'm looking for one of the more recent ones that has the thin layer of foam protection on the bottom (not the hard plastic). As an option, I have an extra front one that I could trade. Thx.
  4. @ejj Here is a 4:21 explanation for you... looks kinda funky...
  5. I believe the baller referenced by @richarddoane has an ad on Ski-it-again selling those beanies for $28 incl shipping. Search # SIA19252 . ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Wet_Suit&postid=19252
  6. The Radar Vectors are a good choice for bindings. Test fit is a good idea. I'm an 8 or 8 1/2, and find the Standard size (7-11) to be a bit loose...particularly in the heel.
  7. My $.02....I own 3 or 4 pair of hyperfreaks, but have started migrating towards Hurley's Phantom series...which also have "flex". I've had good luck (i.e. cheap prices) buying them thru the ebay store for "fittedfresh"...who also has a direct website.
  8. I figure that this topic was worthy of a "bump". With full credit going to this thread.... having just turned 45 and noting a couple "rough" spots on my rapidly balding head, today I had my first appointment with the dermatologist. Fortunately, I got what I was hoping for.... Peace of Mind. I did have one spot on the side of my nose, and three on top of my head that she deemed "pre-cancerous", and treated (froze) with nitrogen. So make your appointment. Thx guys.
  9. I use a flip HD. Actually was pretty surprised at how well the camcorder in my daughter's iPhone 4S works. I didn't figure it had image stabilization, but it did a darn good job jury-rigged to a home made pylon mount.
  10. @blueSki, I didn't realize that Eagle would put extra floatation in the front of their vests. It was my understanding that they only "double stuff" the rear...which is the way the women's vests come standard.
  11. Question: What is definition of "Trailing Arm"? Answer: left arm going through gates, and going to 1,3,5 ball. Right arm going to 2,4,6 ball. (Not sure why it takes me so long to always have to think this through when I read it)
  12. Might be helpful to define "leading arm" vs "trailing arm"...so people are consistent in identifying them in their posts.
  13. interesting to have choice between Vice and Vice-C. Curious to see the price points.
  14. @xrated I believe the "Adjustable" option from Radar (with the bungee) is a one size fits all. They do offer the more traditional RTP in different sizes.
  15. Here is a demo option for you... h2oproshop.com/ride-before-you-buy-program.html You might even let them watch those videos to help make some suggestions
  16. @AB I believe I saw them being sold on the Miamiskinautique website for $139 IIRC @Rup... I'd be curious how the floatation of your camaro compares to the "double stuff" Eagle
  17. Holy Orange Crush... are those orange ski bases bright!! Radar just put up a picture on instagram of a whole rack of them at Okeeheelee (maybe someone can post it here). That ski is sure to freak out any fish or critters lurking beneath the surface of the water. I kinda like it. My Strada boot is getting a bit tattered (but looks new compared to Jody's). I'd be interested if any further changes were made to the 2012 boot redesign... tough to see what boots KC Wilson has on in the orange Strada pic.
  18. @bigtallweed I have one on my 03RLxi that I made from pvc and misc hardware costing <$20. Works well w/ my flipcam. PM if details wanted.
  19. Likewise Joel, I'd be interested in you feedback. I like the concept....but "spendy" at an additional $60.
  20. if legit, it looks like a great buy...sure to make a wife and/or girlfriend happy. If interested in it, you would want to find out what size Lyric boot that is. If "small" it will fit womens sz6-9.
  21. No evidence, but I've heard of someone waxing the bottom of their ski....w/ catastrophic results. Thus, would assume some degree of accidental oil, wax, or dirt buildup...could have some negative effect. With all the OCD folks around here...why take chances ... especially if just talking about periodically taking 20 seconds to wipe your ski down w/ a rag &rubbing alcohol?
  22. The youtube video on ski set up that Rossi recently did, began with him rubbing down the ski with towel and rubbing alcohol....to remove all mold release, etc...
  23. Crash...We had a clinic at the lake recently w/ a well known pro. On a free ski session, he ripped it up with his rear foot out of the RTP. Sadly, looked better than us "students" w/ both feet in. Might be a "drill" to try, to establish some feel/control with that front foot.
