  1. @MISkier The spectator crowd for that Nationals was pretty impressive. The hill in the background was packed. Estimate of the crowd was upwards of 10,000
  2. @Edbrazil This is the result of NO support from the organization. $$$. People complain about the cost to ski regionals and nationals. How about the cost to travel halfway around the world at your expense. Crazy.
  3. @Horton looks like British boys finish 1&2. Had a run off to decide. Canepa 3rd. Hunter 5th. Looks like USA will not medal in team overall
  4. @Bruce_Butterfield not any fun. See the thread about gps location apps. Plus or minus 30 feet is close enough to find anchors. (sarcasm) how deep are the anchors.
  5. @Bill22 If it can't put you wihin a few feet it is pretty much useless. I have found several online but none of them have been accurate enough.
  6. I wonder if slalom balls intentionally set WAY lower than allowed by the rules, are any less of a violation? If people want to find something to %itch about, they can always find it.

    5.3 or 5.7

@jjackkrash Unless you are pulling REAL big jumpers (200 foot plus) the 5.3 is plenty of boat. Even with a short set up at 36, it has enough for 99.9% of all skiers. The upgrade to the 6.2 can add several many $$$$ to the purchase price.
  8. @dbutcher Great info. My problem is with the jump course 5,6& 700 foot balls & the grid bouys along with the trick course. At times, it feels like a few needles in a hay stack. I hate the spring when the lake is high and EVERYTHING is underwater.
  9. @WBLskier Most of the stuff that I have tried to use from a phone or tablet, have accuracies of about +/- 30 feet. I had the same idea to try and find bouys when the lake level goes up. Anyone that has a inexpensive solution please share it

    5.3 or 5.7

We got the 5.3 in our 2016. It is a much better option than the 5.7 in the nautique. In the 2017 boats, the old 6.0 is the standard motor, with the 5.3 and 6.2 DI motors as upgrades. We all agree the 5.3DI is good set up, but is it better than the 6.0???? What are the 2017 promo guys going with? 5.3DI? old 6.0? or 6.2DI? The torque numbers are slightly higher for the 5.3 over the 6.0
  11. @Mark_Matis as ed would say..... Back in the day.... You can find @Horton jump scores over 170. Not too bad
  12. @Bruce_Butterfield. Poor Zach. I hope he wasn't scared.
  13. @zjbrannan Based on the vid, I would say that you can ride 88's Looks like you ride the skis well and are solid in the air and landings. Keep working at it. Good luck on your search for some sticks.
  14. @jcamp with the live scores, it is not unusual for them to post the last completed pass. 6@13, and a delay while the rope is shortened 6@12 etc. Need to wait till the next skiers score is posted or any score other than 6
  15. Huge props go out to 14 year old Zach Butterfield competing on the u21 team and posting a jump pb over 130 feet. Where are the rest of the male u21 USA team?
  16. @LeonL usually closer to 11/12 hours of slalom. Two lake site so trick and jump run with slalom. Not P&C but a lot of the three eventers opt out of the 3rd rd of slalom. Usually 30/40 rds of trick & jump. It is a full day for sure.
  17. We host three tournaments a year. 3RD S 2RD T 2RD J all in a single day. We usually have 35 slalom skiers and always have a waiting list. If we change anything, we would go to 2 RD S in order to allow more skiers
  18. @Roger some states dont put any value on states. Until this year, in Texas, it was just another class C tournament. Sites in Dallas and Houston, held tournaments the same weekend that a site in Austin held a tournament that they called "Texas State Championship" It held no value. There was a attempt to change that last year. We will see how it all works out.
  19. @ZipZapPaddyWhack true but ouch. Shots fired.
  20. @Drago some might need to see a doctor for that. I fixed that problem by putting the little locks on my bathroom stalls like you used to see many years ago in public places. It only unlocks when you put the quarter in. I wonder how many remember those.
  21. @Horton you don't want any of my employees on your site. None of them know the difference between a front flip done inside or outside the line.
  22. As a business owner, it always concerns me when I see the number of posts during working hours. It makes me wonder how much time is wasted on web sites. I can control my network but much more difficult with the tablet and smart phones.
  23. @Mateo Vargas That is really great that you have so many awards. I guess over the years with my kids, they got so many, that after awhile, most of them became meaningless. Some never made it into the house. The important ones did. Regional and National for sure. Local ones not so much. I guess that is the result of a everyone gets a medal society. When the reward is cold hard cash........
  24. @John Brooks Ding. Ding. Ding. You are right SOCIAL events.
