  1. Where all the cows and chickens go? If everyone went vegan.
  2. All equipment driven sports are the same. Everyone is chasing the next product, some because they have the ability to actually take advantage of it. Some because they just want it, even though they have no chance of taking advantage of it. Mountain biking: there are a lot of guys riding 8k bikes because it makes them faster, and there are a lot of guys riding 8k bikes because it makes them look cooler and they have the money. Tennis: there are people with 4 or 5 250.00 rackets in there bag and gear, others with used ones they got for 50 dollars Pickleball: I see guys with 4 or 5-100 dollar paddles in their 100 dollar bag. If a masterline rope would give me more buoys I would buy it. But, alas my problem isn't with the rope. If we didn't talk about costs, gluts, multiple personalities and funny videos in the winter what else would we talk about?:)
  3. @dvskier, speed isn't a bad thing. drinking and driving is.
  4. I pulled all of the three event boats and promo boats off sia and put them on excel 50k+=102 40-50k=7 30-40k=19 20-30k=24 0-20k=68 clearly there are a lot of expensive used boats waiting for new owners. and a lot of cheap boats waiting for new owners. infer what you will.
  5. @2valve ya, that is what I mentioned before. unless you do start it up and run it, just changing the oil and having it sit in the garage did nothing for you. Which I think happens occasionally. but I think changing oil at 15 hrs is overkill, unless it is a new motor/rebuilt then do it around 10 hours.
  6. I guess I am confused on the change oil now or later at 15 hours. Unless you change the oil now and then drive it, all of the residual oil on the other side of the engine and lots of other places is still untouched for the remainder of the winter in the garage. So in effect it did nothing except put in new oil that is going to sit in the bottom of the oil pan for the winter. And testing your oil not sure why again? I think this is a good idea for race teams, but for people that aren't going to rebuild their engine after every few drives or do anything about it after they get the data seems like a lot of effort for nothing. check plugs, check oil level, check gauges, smell and listen to engine. If you really want to know what is going on, get a wide band o2, which is total overkill unless you are racing and tuning yourself.
  7. The amazing part is the hair style is the same one kids have today.
  8. @UWSkier silicone is a good idea, that should help keep it in place.
  9. I like the idea, I wonder how long it will stay on with aggressive accel and decel /tight turns. it falling off every couple weeks would be my only concern.
  10. @horton move them 6 inches further away and report back, I don't think you will feel the same way.
  11. 4 feet wow, our entrance is between 20-30 inches depending on river level. 30+ mph goes through easy, idle no way when low, it drags.
  12. Cut, Straighten, Cap and notch for cable/chain to clear.
  13. Here is another way of looking at scores based on their % to the world average still using original data. Not sure if Australia skews things with it being a river with obstacles
  14. Old data from thread, I could easily do new data though
  15. using the data @horton gave this is a percentage break down of rounds run for 70 and 72 buoys I left out 68 because it skewed the chart from the higher end performances
  16. How many ski boats have stopped production in the last 15-20 years or so. centurion Outback Both great and cheaper ski boats also Sanger American Skier I think a couple others. Most of them are still building boats too. Some are out of business So there has to be a reason they didn't keep building ski boats. With only three manufacturers building ski boats, and a big enough market, you would think that people would be lining up to get a piece of the ski market pie. Either the big three have enough resources to push out and control the little guys (oligopoly) Or, there really isn't a market. Or, these other companies were making trash products. Or, lousy management, (but if there is enough cash to be had someone would have made changes)
  17. @skimtb I noticed the lack of wake crossing video too almost like done on purpose you would think if it was good you would want to highlight it.
  18. That is some serious angle you get super impressive skiing
  19. Where does it rank amongst the years 2015-2011 for responses best buy of the group worst buy of the group doesn't really matter they are all close enough. Thanks
  20. Does anyone know of a slalom course at lake pleasant AZ, or if one could be put in?
  21. @vtmecheng Can't go wrong the moomba outback 04-10 year range, the columbia river is big and full of barges we have an open bow and have only taken water over the front once, but you have to be vigilant on choppy days
  22. Getting up on the water is skier error almost always, but I did get a ski last year that I could not ski well on no matter what. Four or five sets and not one 28 off pass. Not even close Every ski I have had in the last 10 years I could run at least 32 off on semi regular basis except that one.
  23. have you contacted the manufacturer of said skis? If so what did they say?
  24. Car is finally painted winter project still going strong in summer
  25. @horton I don't understand that comment please expand on it. If I try and emulate someone who skis correctly and a by-product of skiing better or a better stacked position is a lifted heal, then why would I try and keep it flat if it caused me to get out of position? I don't have much ankle/hip flexibility and getting flat footed is nearly impossible unless my butt and cog is hanging out past the back end of the ski.
