Baller swc5150 Posted March 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted March 14, 2013 My brother visited the CC factory when his 2012 was being built, and the guide told him you could actually use straight acetone on the new vinyl without hurting it. It's extreme quality stuff...you get what you pay for.
Baller ForrestGump Posted March 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted March 14, 2013 One thing I've noticed from the 2010 and 2011 LXI(not sure if this is applicable to the txi also) was that the interior would darken drastically when covered wet. Almost like mildew. We were told by Dennis Kelly at Malibu that it had something to do with the coating on the vinyl. Once you took the cover off and sun hit it, the color came back. Really weird. You'd stick the boats in the sun for 30 minutes and it would be back to white. The new carbon weave and metalflake vinyl on the 200 is pretty robust. Must more resistant to abrading and discoloration than previous vinyls used by CC.
Baller thompjs Posted March 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted March 14, 2013 TXI has gizmo for rudder adjust -- no grinding.
Baller thompjs Posted March 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted March 14, 2013 Also you might add some weight up front if you have light load, but it is not as necessary as LXI.
Baller dave2ball Posted March 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted March 14, 2013 The 200 also has an adjustable rudder. Correct Craft was the first boat company to come out with an adjustable rudder little more the 10 years ago
Baller thompjs Posted March 14, 2013 Baller Share Posted March 14, 2013 I didn't mean to imply that CC did not have it. Relatively recent on Malibu's
