I saw that. I say use PVC pipe. Better. Lighter. Stronger. But quite possibly could infringe on his patent rights. He did patent that right?

The spacing could easily be modified to fit 2 pieces on there to get the desired coverage if you feel 1 bar leaves too much space. Lighter pvc would be better in that case. This design would definitely prevent any "sail" effect.

I saw it before and got a good laugh at it as well. I don't think it was meant as a joke but to make a point - Like, something simple like that could be priceless when you need it.

I took about 10 minutes today and built one. Very simple and I think it will keep my head out of the handle which is what I use them for anyway.
