Radar knotless mainline short?

Just discovered my radar knotless mainline (the black one) is short by 7’ @ 15’ off!

It’s accurate up to 35’ off but after that all the sections are short by 6”- 2’ eventually creating 7’ difference at 15’ off.

Been struggling all season behind my boat, and other boats always felt like I had more line. Sure enough...it’s off. And most affected at the 22’ and 15’ off my family skis at.

That's a bummer sorry about that, but I'm sure @brooks will chime in on this.

I love Radar products but haven’t used their ropes as I was told “don’t take a chance, get Masterline”.

It is 7 feet short at 15 off? That seems like a tremendous amount. The good news is if you have run 15 off you really ran 22 off.

Which rope is it? Is it the newest iteration of the vapor knotless? Is it white or is it black?

My ski buddy had the exact same thing happen to him last year with that rope. Luckily radar has great customer service and took care if it quickly with a new rope. Always measure your ropes.

Hey @Windsurfnut, will you send me an email, brooks@squareoneco.com with some photos. We have had some issues int he past but have made great strides in the last few years and every single Vapor Mainline we make now is spot checked for accuracy.

@Windsurfnut how are you measuring the rope? It should be measured starting from the handle end to the longline section or 15 off section. I find it hard to believe the rope would be 6 feet short. That is almost whole 15 off section. 70 feet with out the handle.

You should measure your rope unless you don't care. Really effects your practice pb ;) <~ sarcasm. Easier to measure with metric.
