  1. Ski more real estate, urgency, and a snow cone maker, or espresso machine strapped to your chest.
  2. Lap swimming in the mornings up at the high school pool helps me a lot. Good for flexibility and over all conditioning. I purchased an annual swim pass. That seems to make me swim more often.
  3. Yes, during a recent lesson with will a., he encouraged me to participate, so last night I renued my USA waterski membership, and I'm looking into what class, and day. Should be fun.
  4. @Horton, I'm not sure; do I qualify for a panda shirt?
  5. @OB1, wow, nice looking set up. And it still has orange on it.
  6. Wilies pro build front ( thicker and stiffer than pro series), and wilies pro series for rear. It's really all i know, as i have been on them for years. I have thought about trying a hard, or d3, but haven't gotten aroun to it yet.
  7. @JetPilotSkiguy, for me, the blue accurate's, with the double padded amara palms are the best gloves That I have tried. I like them so much, that I recently bought 4 pairs through Bart's. I never get calluses with them. A couple weeks ago I grabbed two lefts before I headed to the ski lake, so I had to use my ski buddies right. I think it was a Kevlar type. I was'nt used to the roughness, and it started to almost instantly hurt my hands. Could not Waite to get back to the accurate. Get the smallest size that you can get on your hands. Hope this helps. Good luck.
  8. World team comp., special edition.
  9. Thank you bell aqua. Great water, weather and people
  10. @Ryota , i made this set up years ago, when i was free skiing, in between using a rtp, and the full rear wileys that i now use. I just cut down a wileys full rear, and it worked really well for me. Kind of like the maha cup. Hope this helps. Good luck, and happy raster.
  11. Love my slasher vest. Flexible, and very good flotation for a non cga. 6'2" (now), 185, xl is plenty big.
  12. @kyrasantoroxx, congratulations on your success, and best of luck on a fantastic career.
  13. @ToddA, sounds impressive, todd. I am looking foreward to skiing with, and getting pionters from you and dave w soon, and maybe trying a vr. Thanks.
  14. My blue & black oneil slasher vest, and accurate gloves. Really comfortable.
  15. @Sethski, nice going, seth. Hope to get another coaching from you soon, & also hope your real estate is going well.
  16. Like many above, i wish i had known what a course was, and recieved coaching at age 10, instead of 54, but it's never too late. Life is good. It would also have been nice to buy a house on a course lake at an early age.
  17. @Mastercraft81SnS, the evinrude 115 vtech may have plenty of hole shot and top end on a light weight hull.
  18. @Rsnelly83, one of my ski buddy's skis on a 67 cx sl at 30-32-34 mph, 15-22 off,and he is about 150-155 lbs., and the ski is not too big for him at all. Good luck.
  19. @richarddoane, nice M.C., and basta lift and motorized cover set up.

    Gas Cans

@Edbrazil, this has worked for me. Hope this helps.
  21. @Mitzysman, the tx sl is an excellent ski for free skiing, and in the course. Over the last several years, I tried higher performance skis, and ended up going back to my triumph, then a tx sl, and now I am loving my cx sl. The tx sl likes 28 m.p.h. In the course just fine. You will like it. Good luck.
