  1. If it’s hot on you drive you should stop and check the pressure and make sure it’s not getting too high. You may need to take some air out during the high speed/temp portion of your drive. Obviously you would need to air them back up when things slow down/cool down,
  2. You’ll want to pick a new line length for the era of boat you are considering; -22 is likely to be the worst (though still good) part of the wake.
  3. My buddy @Pullhard just got one of the “blue bomb” handles. I skied a set on it the other day and really liked the material. I’m due for a new handle at the end of the year so looking forward to getting a new In-Tow with the blue stuff.
  4. Don’t know the seller or the boat but I just saw this on team talk. https://teamtalk.mastercraft.com/forum/classifieds-buy-sell/for-sale-boats/95568-1994-mastercraft-prostar-190
  5. Love my stokes as well, definitely worth taking a look at.
  6. I talked to @brooks about that whole tip high thing before I skied on the 2022 Vapor. He assured me it’s not like the ski likes to wheelie it is supposed to mean you can turn the ski from a variety of positions on the ski (at least I think that’s what he said). I’ve got a few weeks on the Vapor and there is no tendency to wheelie that I can detect and I’m really loving my new Vapor.
  7. @rw3 take a look at the Radar HRT, might be what your looking for.
  8. @B_S i like the high angle as well. Anybody know how they are controlling the camera to follow the skier? When Rob went down in the second round the camera seemed to follow the handle as it pinged around making me think it is some kind of automation.
  9. Tons of tips in this thread: /forum#/discussion/21938/perfect-pass-3-event-version-9/p1 Each boat is a little different make small changes at a time and do good record keeping so you can return to known good setting if something goes awry.
  10. @VermontSkier Your standard spring is probably ok if it’s not worn out. My PP shipped with and extra spring to help the servo work better as it can only pull the throttle and release tension so a heavier return spring help with throttle response when the servo backs off on the throttle. I ran the spring from the throttle arm to a bolt on my intake manifold. I don’t have that boat anymore otherwise I’d post a picture.
  11. I had a PP/zbox in a carbed boat. You will never get the response of throttle by wire injected boat but PP gives you all the information to get as close as possible with the technology you have. Make sure you have good throttle return spring. There is a big thread here about the ball timing @Windsurfnut is talking about. As far as mapping goes, if the course shifts significantly when current changes you could just map it as a second course. This would assume that the current is consistent when it is present. But really, I doubt that the balls move very far unless it’s a pretty strong current.
  12. I’m headed to the Radar Nation tour at Radar lake June 18th to give both the Senate and and Vapor a spin. One of them will probably “follow me home” just like @bikesrus ?

  14. I save all my video the a hard drive by date and then have special folders for specific sets I want to look at regularly. I also have a separate folder for GiveGo lessons. I log my sets with notes in swerve tracker (https://app.swervetracker.com/login). I like the idea of saving comments with the video but I think you will run out of space pretty fast on free YouTube. I don’t know what the extra storage runs. I also use a video tool called OnForm (https://www.getonform.com/) that is like the coaching side of GiveGo. I use it to coach my friends but your idea got me thinking about using it for self coaching and recording comments.
  15. I see it published but I’m unable to download or play either of the episodes. I’ve tried with the apple podcast app as well as another podcast app.
  16. I’ll be at the one at Radar lake, super excited.
  17. Oh man, that is waaayyyy beyond pet peeve level…that’s full on ugly cry level. ?
  18. I’ve not been there but Bell Aqua has coaching available. https://bellacqualake.com/
  19. Our set up is a narrow (no room for spinning) dead end one way and wide open the other. So I always drop one way but will spin on the other end if I’m not shortening.
  20. Last Thursday got my first open water set in. 75 degree air, 52 degree water. Quite comfortable dry suit skiing. This morning, I woke up to this :s
  21. The turning gate was kind of thing back in the late 80’s too. One of my ski buddies still does it. I could never get consistent timing doing it that way. I’ve been listening to last season’s spray makers gates episode on repeat. One thing I realized I was doing wrong was kind of turning down the lake at whatever width I felt necessary and not really keeping the swing going. The little turn I was doing was getting me narrow with too loose of a line. Some experiments in open water yesterday helped me have better speed and width. A few more weeks before the course goes in and I can put it into practice.
  22. Gates gates gates…specifically turn in timing and keeping weight on my front foot when turning in.
  23. Actually I use a 0.97 bent from InTow
  24. Too bad you’re not a course skier…that boat has “PB” written right on it ?
