  1. @swbca you might want to look at a “jammer” style swimsuit. They are the kind of swim trunks used by Olympic swimmers than fit tight to the leg. Personally, I like some wind resistance, like always having a gentle head wind ?
  2. Is her concern that it won’t shut down when needed? Assuming so, have her drive in open water and no skier to get comfortable. Have her throttle back and experience how the system disengages. If you boat has a kill lanyard maybe show her how she can use that to shut the while boat down. My wife won’t drive at all so my suggestions are merely theoretical ?
  3. @zman no, I have a 7 and the QR config with speed triggers works great.
  4. Put up to 15 but really ski regardless of wind. 15 is kind of typical maximum. Driver availability is a bigger factor.
  5. Part of several other steps to cure my elbow pain.
  6. @Pullhard what on earth do you need these for…I thought you were done accumulating ski gear ?
  7. You don’t want to pull longer to get wider, you want to be more aggressive in your edge out from directly behind the boat to about 45 degrees out. This video from @AdamCord transformed my whole gate process (not that I have perfected it by any means). https://denaliskis.com/pages/gut-gate
  8. I’ve got a nearly complete set of used ones I’d give you for the price of shipping but they are not green, they are red/yellow.
  9. 3 event tournament skier back in the 80’s life got it the way and barely skied for 30 years. Now attacking the course like I’m going to tournaments but probably won’t.
  10. They do have digital zoom but as mentioned it takes a little trial and error to get the closest shot and keep the skier in frame. 50 to 60% seems to be about right.
  11. Doh, my bad, I thought this was the 60th masters. ?
  12. Looks like the replays are up on Vimeo.
  13. Just bought a ski for a buddy West Virginia to Oregon for $70 via fedex ground. I spent 30 years in the mail order business, USPS is the cheapest but most unreliable, UPS is expensive and somewhat more reliable. FedEx is by far the most reliable and fairly well priced.
  14. I think you should be able to watch a reply on Vimeo. At least I was able to watch some of the juniors from Friday last night. At the moment, I can’t watch anything from Saturday or Sunday but I assume it will eventually be there like the juniors. Search for “Masters water ski” or find the page for “We Media Project”.
  15. Welcome to the neighborhood where Bimini tops are not just for sunshine. ;) https://youtu.be/XorOUr2Tpwo
  16. @keithh2oskier I had the very same issue with my Achilles, even a small lump on it. Lots and lots of stretching eventually got it to go away. Just did the typical lean against the wall 3 to 4 times a day after warming up with 30 seconds of toe raises.
  17. @MBlohm the feature is still there for me. Pick My Performance from the menu then scroll down to the second graph. Click one of the bars to show the digits.
  18. @swbca I believe it is common. Primarily for improved tracking but I’m sure it helps the slow speed wake also. The previous owner installed the weight in my boat and it’s dead center at the prow of the boat.
  19. The guys I ski with love the wake on my newly acquired 2001 prostar. They ski at 28-32 mph. I do have a 50lb weight up in the bow to keep the nose down maybe that would help in your 2004.
